A high pressure ridge (“Arch” shape) is moving over the Pacific Northwest and a trough of low pressure (“U” shape) will move in behind it. The skies will brighten and warm the temperatures for the rest of the weekend. A couple of cold fronts move into the area early next week, along with that upper low, returning the clouds, cooler temperatures, and the chance of precipitation.
