An upper level low (“U” shape) has been sitting over us sending some moisture our way. That’s the bad news. The good news is that a high pressure ridge (“Arch” shape)  is moving in bringing us sunshine and much warmer temperatures for the long holiday weekend. A weak disturbance over the weekend will only bring a few more clouds and no precipitation.
