It’s Monday. It is a holiday, but I’m still going to give you my weather weather quiz question. Here it is. You have probably heard the term “fronts” used to explain the boundaries between cold and warm air masses. Who first coined that term? Please remember to post your answer as a comment by clicking on “no comments/comments” in the upper right hand portion of this page under the caption, then add your comment. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. The answer has to be a comment to win. An email answer will not count. Good luck.

It will warm back up for all of the Independence Day celebrations. Have a safe 4th of July Holiday. Please don’t Drink and Drive or Boat and Drive. The least you could get is a ticket and the worst is a ticket to the last roundup for you and maybe someone else. Be safe.

Advisories: NONE AT THIS TIME.

A high pressure ridge (“Arch” shape) is bringing back the sunny and warmer weather today. An upper level trough of low pressure “U” shape) will build in from the Northwest about midweek. A cold front will approach the Pacific Northwest Wednesday bringing more clouds, cooler temperatures, and maybe even some sprinkles.
