Here is my weather quiz question for this week. How much water is in the oceans of the  Earth? Your answer should be in gallons. Please place your answer as a comment to this post. The first person to post the correct answer will win one week of free personalized forecasts tailored to your needs. Good luck.

_______________

A warm front pushed warmer  air through Oregon that is moving in on the “Pineapple Express” (warm moist air from Hawaii). A cold front is on the way and will bring more valley rain and mountain snow. Weak high pressure builds Tuesday then weakens  allowing another weak front to try to move in Wednesday. The ridge gets a little stronger Thursday (arrows moving up and over the Pacific Northwest) then allows yet another storm to move in late in the week (Friday) bringing back a better chance of rain.
