An upper level trough of low pressure (“U” shape on orange line) is setting up over the Pacific Ocean bringing more clouds and some cooling early for now into early next week. A frontal system (shown offshore) will approach the coast today and move in Monday bringing the small chance of showers mainly Monday and Monday night. The weather will be good for the end of the Scandinavian Festival in Junction City today and for the beginning of the Lane County Fair that starts next Wednesday when another warming trend will begin. The next frontal system will come through Oregon by Friday bringing back more clouds. If you think the moon is full you are correct. The full Sturgeon Moon was officially full at 11:57 AM PDT Saturday.
