Here we are, another Monday and time for my new weekly weather quiz question. What do the following Eskimo words have in common: Aniu, Apun,Mauja, Pukak, Qalig, Qannik, and Upsik? Please remember to post your answer as a comment by clicking on “no comments /comments” in the upper right hand portion of this page under the caption, then add your comment. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized  weather forecasts tailored to your needs. The answer has to be a comment to win. An email answer will not count. Good luck.

Advisories: NONE AT THIS TIME.

high pressure ridge (“Arch” shape on  the orange line) is over the Pacific Northwest continuing the sunshine and warm temperatures. A cold front will drop down and move through bringing some clouds and cooling the temperatures behind it with some sprinkles mainly along the coast. It will start to warm back up again by mid week and remain pleasant as the Eugene Celebration starts next Friday through the weekend.

**Because weather forecasting is a combination of science, intuition, and timing there can be no absolute guarantees that individual forecasts will be 100% accurate. Nature is in a constant state of flux and sudden unexpected weather events can happen.
