trough of low pressure (“U” shape shaded in grey with blue arrows) has moved across Oregon while a low off the Northern California coast (shaded area with blue arrows) moves up and into Oregon bringing the chance of thunderstorms back to the Cascades and foothills and Southern Oregon. Another upper level low will swing in along the coast and a new frontal system will enter the Pacific Northwest early next week returning some clouds and cooler temperatures and maybe even some sprinkles.
