A trough of Low Pressure ( the “U” shaped shaded area now just onshore) will slowly slide eastward giving us rain. The latest frontal system has pushed its way into Oregon. Low pressure is riding up the front side of the trough and that means the surface low is moving northward away from us. More frontal systems will move through over the weekend bringing valley rain and mountain snow.
