Here it is my weekly weather quiz question. This is an easy “Fall” question. What makes the leaves lose their green color and fall off of the trees? Please remember to post your answer as a comment by clicking on “no comments /comments” in the upper right hand portion of this page under the caption, then add your comment. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. The answer has to be a comment to win. An email answer will not count. Good luck.

Advisories: NONE AT THIS TIME.

An upper air trough of low pressure (“U” shape on the orange jet stream line) is slowly moving to the east allowing high pressure to help dry us out for a bit. A frontal system pushed through and dropped some more rain on us Wednesday and continued today, but that will be over for a while at least. Too bad the light rain or drizzle had to hang on for the Ducks vs Cal game at Autzen Stadium this evening.
