Here is my weekly weather quiz question. Today is your last chance to win this week. This is an easy “Fall” question. What makes the leaves lose their green color and fall off of the trees? Please remember to post your answer as a comment by clicking on “no comments /comments” in the upper right hand portion of this page under the caption, then add your comment. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. The answer has to be a comment to win. An email answer will not count. Good luck.

Your Saturday College Football Forecast: The Beavers vs Arizona at Reser Stadium: Kickoff 12:30 PM Partly cloudy 60 warming to near 68 by the end of the game.

________________

An upper air trough of low pressure (“U” shape on the orange jet stream line) is slowly moving to the east, but so is a weak frontal system so there is still a chance for some rain today. High pressure (“arch” shape) will help dry us out for a bit on Saturday, but a  frontal system will move in over the weekend along with another low pressure trough setting up along the coast bringing back more clouds and precipitation.
