Saturday College football game forecast:

Beavers vs Washington State in Seattle, WA – kickoff 7:30 PM this evening: Cloudy with showers, 56 holding steady and then dropping by a couple of degrees by the end of the game.

________________

The upper air flow will keep clouds and moisture over us through Sunday night. A frontal system will slide down Sunday with that airflow, but it looks like it will clear out more quickly behind it. The jet stream will move to the North allowing high pressure to take over and bring back the sun, for a while at least, starting Monday. That’s a day sooner than I originally expected.

________________

WEEKEND METEOR SHOWER: The Earth has entered a stream of debris from Halley’s comet, source of the annual Orionid meteor shower. Forecasters expected the shower to peak on this morning with more than 15 meteors per hour, but it will continue for the next few days too. Check http://spaceweather.com for links to a live meteor radar, sky maps and observing tips. Good luck finding them through the clouds until Monday night, but remember you need to be away from the city lights to se much of anything.
