An upper air trough of low pressure (“U” shape on yellow line) moved eastward over Oregon. Now high pressure (“Arch” shape on yellow line) will dry us out for couple of days. Then low pressure returns offshore, but a frontal system will wait until Friday night to start bringing back the wet weather, then another frontal system will push through between Saturday and Sunday.
