A high pressure ridge (“Arch” shape on the jet stream) is planted offshore and the airflow will keep us in the sunshine, as long as the fog clears. So, for the better part of the next week we’ll see sunshine after the late night and early AM fog and freezing fog clear out. That also means that our air quality is suffering with the sinking air of high pressure holding on to the pollutants at the surface.
