No winner so here is the answer to this week’s weather quiz question. What is water’s “triple point”?  The triple point of water occurs at 32 degrees F or 0 degrees C when water is in all three states liquid, solid, and gas at the same time. I’ll have another weekly weather quiz question for you next Monday.

_______________

The jet stream that has kept most of the rain away from us is moving and weakening. That will end as the next weak storm system will be offshore and move in by late tonight. Another storm system seen offshore on the forecast map will head our way next week. The “El Nino” weather pattern will continue to control our weather keeping us above normal for temperatures and below normal for precipitation.
