The “El Nino” weather pattern will continue to control our weather keeping us above normal for temperatures and below normal for precipitation. A weak high pressure ridge is moving in (see blue arrows offshore forming an arch) and will keep us dry, at least for today. The upcoming week will see a parade of storm systems moving through Oregon.

Forecast for the Central and  Southern Willamette Valley including Eugene-Springfield and Albany-Corvallis:  AM fog and clouds then a mix of clouds and sun with a slight (20%) chance of AM showers today and partly cloudy in the evening becoming mostly cloudy overnight tonight high 48 low near 39. Mostly cloudy with a (40%) chance of rain Monday through Tuesday highs near 50 lows near 40. Rain likely (60%) Tuesday night low near 40. A (40%) chance of rain Wednesday high 54. A (40%) chance of showers Wednesday night and Thursday low 40 high 52. Mostly cloudy with a good (50%) chance of rain Thursday night through Friday night lows 40 high 54.
