The “El Nino” weather pattern will continue to control our weather keeping us above normal for temperatures and below normal for precipitation. A weak high pressure ridge is moving eastward (see blue arrows offshore forming an arch) and weakening. The upcoming week will see a parade of weak storm systems moving through Oregon.

Forecast for the Central and  Southern Willamette Valley including Eugene-Springfield and Albany-Corvallis:  Partly cloudy this evening becoming mostly cloudy overnight tonight with patchy fog low near 39. Mostly cloudy with a good (50%) chance of rain Monday and rain likely (60%) Monday night high near 50 low near 42. A (30%) chance of rain Tuesday increasing to a better (40%) at high near 53 low near 42. A good (50%) chance of rain Wednesday high 53.
