Today is your last chance to answer my weekly weather quiz question. How did George Washington use his weather knowledge to escape when the British apparently had his army trapped on January 2, 1777? Please remember to post your answer as a comment by clicking on “no comments /comments” in the upper right hand portion of this page under the caption, then add your comment. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. The answer has to be a comment to win. An email answer will not count. Good luck.

Upper level low pressure will take over and a frontal system is sliding mainly over the northern reaches of the state. Another frontal system will be returning the chance of rain again just in time for Christmas. Mt Ashland has reopened for the season. Hoodoo says they will be open December 26-31.
