The “El Nino” weather pattern will continue to control our weather keeping us above normal for temperatures and below normal for precipitation. An upper level trough of low pressure (see blue arrows over the Pacific Northwest forming the letter “U”) is sending a new storm system through California with some of the split energy bringing some showers to us. Sunday and most of Monday will be drier, but a new series of weak frontal systems will move in next week bringing back the chance for more rain.
