Here is my weekly weather quiz question. Who first used silver iodide to encourage rain to fall from the clouds? Please remember to post your answer as a comment by clicking on “no comments /comments” in the upper right hand portion of this page under the caption, then add your comment. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. The answer has to be a comment to win. An email answer will not count. Good luck.

Advisories:  NONE AT THIS TIME.

A trough of low pressure (“U” shape on the yellow line) has moved in  bringing moisture with it. A frontal system fell apart as it moved through but still produced rainy weather and another weak storm is right behind it keeping us a bit wet today until early Wednesday. A high pressure ridge (“Arch” shape on the yellow line) will take over bringing back the sunshine for the end of the week through the weekend.
