A high pressure ridge(“Arch” shape in blue arrows from the ocean into Canada) has been dominating our weather pattern, but some weak storms are sneaking in under it (see shaded area bulging into California). A frontal system has returned the chance of showers and then yet another frontal system (position shown is Monday) will be bringing a chance of showers back for the latter half of the weekend into early next week.
