high pressure ridge (“Arch” shape on yellow line) is pulling away from us and a trough of low pressure (“U” shape on the yellow line) will be taking over returning the wet weather pattern.  A frontal system is moving in now so after a relatively dry day returns. There will be even more frontal systems (position shown is Sunday) that will keep the showers around through the weekend into next week.
