A trough of low pressure (“U” shape on the yellow line) is moving eastward to roll over us, then a high pressure ridge (“Arch” shape on the yellow line) will take over until the next trough approaches Friday returning the clouds and rain. Another frontal system (position shown is Friday) and one behind it will continue the threat of rain from Friday night through the weekend.
