A high pressure ridge , called an “Omega Block” because it is shaped like the Greek letter omega, will get stronger and move North a bit, but still plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures through the weekend into early next week. A storm will brush the extreme southern part of Oregon, mainly along the coast, which could produce some  rain on Sunday. A weak storm system will move toward the West Coast between Tuesday night and Wednesday and that will be our next chance for rain in Western Oregon.
