Another trough of low pressure (“U” shape on the jet stream) is sliding southward and eastward pusing frontal systems our way. A frontal system pushing through Oregon has spread rain in the valleys and heavy snow that will continue to fall in the mountains and foothills. The Vernal Equinox arrived at 10:14 PM PDT Monday night ushering in the season of Spring. (The earliest Spring in 116 years.) Another frontal system will be aimed at us Friday bringing even more rain.
