It’s Monday and that means it’s time for this week’s weekly weather quiz. Here is the question. This one is relatively easy.  What is an ombrometer? Please post your answer as a comment following this forecast. The first person to post the correct answer will win one week of free personalized forecasts tailored to your personal needs.

_______________

A high pressure ridge is slowly getting weaker and drifting northward.  A storm system will slide under the bottom of the ridge Wednesday and move through Northern California swinging some precipitation northward into the southern part of Oregon, mainly along the coast.  Later in the week, Thursday night into Friday, a stronger storm system will bring a better chance of rain.
