A upper level low pressure trough (shaded “U” shape) is moving eastward across the Pacific Northwest. A high pressure ridge (“Arch” shape in blue arrows over the ocean) will give us drier weather for most of the Easter weekend. The serious chance of rain should hold off until late Sunday afternoon or Sunday night, if we are lucky, but be prepared to cover up if this new frontal system approaches the coast sooner than expected.
