Wednesday was a special day, weather-wise at least. Eugene reached 101 which breaks the old record of 100 set  in 1939. Roseburg set a record of 105 beating the old record of  101 in 1939. There will be a cooling trend as a trough of Low Pressure, the shaded area offshore, brings the cooler marine air our way. Your Thursday will see high temperatures near 90 in the valleys and cool 60s at the coast. A frontal system will move through Friday keeping our temperatures at about average levels. See map below.
