_______________

An upper air trough of low pressure (“U” shape on the orange line) has increased onshore airflow bringing in more clouds and chances for rain all week long. A frontal system moved through Oregon Tuesday night spreading showers eastward. A closed low (yellow circle) will push through the Pacific Northwest Thursday and Friday keeping the chance of showers around. Another frontal system will approach the coast Sunday, but it looks like it could fall apart and bring a chance of showers to the higher elevations only and mostly cloudy skies with just a slight chance of showers to the valley. But, if the front has enough upper air support it could increase the chances of showers for everyone. So be prepared just in case the shower threat increases.
