Here is my weekly weather quiz question. You’ve no doubt heard about the tornadoes that have struck in the eastern half of the country recently. Here is my question. Has anyone found a way to stop tornadoes? Please explain your answer. Please remember to post your answer as a comment by clicking on “no comments /comments” in the upper right hand portion of this page under the caption, then add your comment. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. The answer has to be a comment to win. An email answer will not count. Good luck.

A high pressure ridge (“Arch” shape on brown line) is controlling our weather. It will be sending a little moisture our way forming some morning clouds that will burn off to sunshine. With the full “Thunder Moon” yesterday we’ll have moon-bright nights for a while. The extended outlook is for even more sunshine and warmer Summertime temperatures.
