The latest frontal system approaching the Oregon coast is being held off by a weakening ridge of high pressure keeping us relative dry. That next front will move in Tuesday bringing back the rain. The precipitation will last a short time then we go back to high pressure that will hold off any storms and return the sunshine that should last through Saturday, the first day of  spring. The next storm system will be setting up offshore by Saturday morning to bring the chance of rain back by Sunday.
