Here’s your last chance to answer my weekly weather quiz question. Scientists have determined that if we listen to the sound a particular creature makes we can determine the current ambient air temperature. What creature are they describing and how do you calculate the temperature? Please post your answer as a comment at the end of these forecasts. The first person to post the correct answer will win one week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. Good luck.

Remember, the Vernal Equinox (the beginning of spring) takes place next tomorrrow March 20th at 10:32 AM.
_______________
High pressure is taking over at the surface and aloft.  That means any storms will be held offshore and we’ll see more sunshine that should last through Saturday, the first day of  spring. Great weather for out door play or chores. The next storm system will be setting up offshore by the weekend to bring at least a slight chance of rain back as a trough of low pressure replaces the ridge of high pressure.
