An upper air trough of low pressure (“U” shape on the orange line) will slide eastward as high pressure (“Arch” shape on the orange line) switches onshore airflow to offshore Friday allowing high temperatures to increase. A weak cold front will brush by us to the northovernight, again with little consequence. Warmer temperatures will be returning for the weekend and it will actually be hot.

**Because weather forecasting is a combination of science, intuition, and timing there can be no absolute guarantees that individual forecasts will be 100% accurate. Nature is in a constant state of flux and sudden unexpected weather events can happen.
