An upper air trough of low pressure (“U” shape on the brown line) brought us enough marine air to cool our high temperatures down to more comfortable levels. With high pressure (“Arch” shape on brown line) over southern Canada and the low offshore we will warm up for the weekend. Another high pressure ridge will build up next week for another round of increasing temperatures.
