A trough of low pressure is sitting offshore (see shaded areas and blue arrows) and will be moving onshore. The next storm system is  already moving through Oregon to bringing the   chance of rain back. There will be a short break without rain and then another storm will bring the chance of rain back between late Wednesday and Thursday .
