A high pressure ridge (“Arch” shape on brown line) has been building over us and allowed for hot weather. The ridge has weakened and along with a weak frontal system (position shown is still offshore) that will slide by mainly north of us Tuesday not having any effect on our weather except to cool us down a bit and making us feel like the hot weather is over. The high pressure ridge will strengthen again for another round of increasing temperatures back to hot.
