A high pressure ridge (“Arch” shape on brown line) strengthened to keep us hot through today. We’ll see cooling, but more humid for the weekend as the ridge weakens and a low off the coast moves to the north. Thunderstorms are possible for late tonight and Saturday due to cooler air moving down from aloft. A cold front will approach the coast Wednesday and start moving through the Pacific Northwest Thursday.
