A high pressure ridge (“Arch” shape on brown line) strengthened to keep us hot through Friday. We’ll see cooling, but more humid for the weekend as the ridge weakens and a low off the coast moves to the north. Thunderstorms are possible for today due to cooler air moving down from aloft and the warm moist air movin in from the south around the low. A cold front will approach the coast Wednesday and start moving through the Pacific Northwest Thursday. It doesn’t look like it will do much to change our weather.
