An upper level trough of low pressure (“U” shape in blue arrows and shaded) is moving away from the Pacific Northwest and  with the help of a cold front brought a little rain to us Monday morning. A high pressure ridge (“Arch shape shaded grey and with blue arrows ”) will bring back the sunshine and warm us up a bit starting today, but the warming to more normal and above normal temperatures will take place Wednesday and Thursday.
