Here is my weather quiz question for this week. Today is your last chance to win this week. There has been heated discussion and much research into “Global Warming.” We’ve heard of the disadvantages of the phenomenon, but what would be the “advantages” of “Global Warming?” Please remember to post your answer as a comment by clicking on “no comments /comments” in the upper right hand portion of this page under the caption, then add your comment. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. The answer has to be a comment to win. An email answer will not count. Good luck.

Advisories: NONE AT THIS TIME.

A  high pressure ridge (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows moving over Western Canada) is far enough North to allow a low pressure area to undercut the ridge increasing the onshore and southerly flow which is giving us more clouds, morning fog and  and cooling temperatures. There will be a change in the weather pattern as we get into the end of the weekend and next week which will give us a chance of showers as a cold front moves in on Monday.

**Because weather forecasting is a combination of science, intuition, and timing there can be no absolute guarantees that individual forecasts will be 100% accurate. Nature is in a constant state of flux and sudden unexpected weather events can happen.
