A high pressure ridge (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows over the Gulf of Alaska) is moving onshore bringing more sunshine to the Pacific Northwest for the rest of the week into the weekend. a frontal system will stall as it moves into Oregon so all it will do is bring a few more clouds and a slight drop in temperatures Saturday. The high pressure ridge will weaken to bring the slight chance of showers Monday night and Tuesday.
