Advisories: NONE AT THIS TIME

A  high pressure ridge (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows over the Gulf of Alaska) is moving onshore bringing more sunshine to the Pacific Northwest for the rest of the week into the weekend. A frontal system (position shown is Sunday) will approach Oregon Saturday and stall as it moves into Oregon so all it will do is bring a few more clouds and a slight drop in temperatures Saturday. The high pressure ridge will weaken to bring the slight chance of showers by late Tuesday night.

**Because weather forecasting is a combination of science, intuition, and timing there can be no absolute guarantees that individual forecasts will be 100% accurate. Nature is in a constant state of flux and sudden unexpected weather events can happen.
