Advisories: NONE AT THIS TIME

A  high pressure ridge (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows over Western Canada) is bringing continued sunshine to the Pacific Northwest for the rest of the week into the weekend. A weak frontal system is approaching the Washington-Oregon coast, but will fall apart and have almost no effect on our weather except to cool us down a bit. A trough of low pressure  (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows moving out of the Gulf of Alaska) will move closer to the Oregon coast bringing the slight chance of showers possibly by Thursday.

**Because weather forecasting is a combination of science, intuition, and timing there can be no absolute guarantees that individual forecasts will be 100% accurate. Nature is in a constant state of flux and sudden unexpected weather events can happen.
