A high pressure ridge has positioned itself so that we are going to get an airflow out of the northwest pushing a frontal system (shown offshore) into the Pacific Northwest, returning the clouds and the chance of rain and lowering mountain snow levels down to the passes. This storm could produce the first snowfall of the season at pass levels.
