An upper level trough of Low Pressure (see the shaded “U” shaped area along the coast) is pushing the next  storm system through the Pacific Northwest. High pressure will build in making Wednesday a dry day.  Low pressure returns and still another storm system will move toward the Oregon coast Wednesday night and Thursday bringing back the wet weather.
