Short-lived high pressure (shaded “Arch” shaped area) brought out the sunshine Sunday warming us up more than I expected, Monday was pretty nice too but cooler, and should hold off more wet weather until tonight. A cold front moved into Oregon bringing the temperatures down and the next one (connected to it) is right behind and moves in as we speak. A trough of low pressure (Shaded “U” shaped area with blue arrows moving out of the Gulf of Alaska) will move in behind the ridge sending waves of moisture at us. Another frontal system, in a series of them, will push into Oregon next week with increasing waves of rain.
