High Pressure (the arch-shaded and with blue arrows-moving ashore) is moving away from us to be replaced, temporarily by a low pressure trough (the “U” shape shaded with blue arrows in it) which will push a new frontal system into Oregon. High pressure will return for a while and then it’s back to low pressure and more storms next week.
