It’s Monday and that means a new weekly weather quiz question. Here it is. Define a “fallstreak.” Please remember to post your answer as a comment by clicking on “no comments /comments” in the upper right hand portion of this page under the caption, then add your comment. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. The answer has to be a comment to win. An email answer will not count. Good luck.

A building upper level ridge of high pressure (shaded “Arch”shape in blue arrows) cleared us out and that will continue for another day. Watch out for fog and possible freezing fog which could obscure your view and make the roads a bit slippery, especially in protected areas and bridges and overpasses. A frontal system (shown way offshore) will slide into the Pacific Northwest Wednesday ushering in the clouds and rain. The next frontal system move in Thursday pushing even more rain out ahead of it. This will give you an idea what our weather will be like for the next 7 days.
