The upper air flow is now moving from west to east (called Zonal Flow) and will start cooling us down a bit. It will start to turn more from the northwest swinging that cooler air over the mountains producing more mountain snow to lower levels. A frontal system pushed through so we’ll see colder drier air take over and some well deserved sunshine breaks. Here is a look at a Frontal system that will move in between late Sunday and Monday increasing the chance of precipitation as it passes, but drying us out to only slight chances of rain behind it early in the week. Mt. Ashland opened today. Hoodoo is opening Friday, and Willamette Pass is still waiting for quite a bit more snow.
