It’s time for a new weekly weather quiz question. Here it is. What is ANOMALOUS PROPAGATION  or (AP) for short? (And no, it’s not a rare disease) Please remember to post your answer as a comment by clicking on “no comments /comments” in the upper right hand portion of this page under the caption, then add your comment. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. The answer has to be a comment to win. An email answer will not count. Good Luck.

high pressure ridge (shaded “arch” shape) is taking over and will dry us out as the trough of low pressure (shaded “U ” shape) pulls farther away from us. A weak frontal system is sliding down from the north along the the ridge. It won’t be until the end of the week that another frontal system will move south of us spreading some clouds and rainy weather at us.
