It’s Monday and that means it’s time for my weekly weather quiz question. This week’s question shouldn’t be too hard. What name is given precipitation that falls from a cloud, but evaporates before it reaches the ground? It is seen as dark streaks coming out of the cloud. Please post your answer as a comment after these forecasts. The first person to post the correct answer will win one week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. Good luck.

An upper level low is moving closer from the West (see the blue arrows moving in a counterclockwise direction) as high pressure East of us moves farther away. A frontal system will bring back the rain today and tonight. High pressure will return about mid week to dry us a bit, but it won’t last long as another frontal system will move into the Pacific Northwest.
